  9. SambaPrefs is an configuration tool used for maneging network shares on
  10. AmigaOS40,
  11. this program aids inn the task of adding/removing directory's for sharing. 
  12. it's is used as front end for Samba network service, 
  13. and it offer the same kind of configuration benefits as
  14.  any other configuration tool for Workbench40 (use/save).
  15.  
  16. (About Samba is network service used one Unix,Linux and Amiga,
  17. it's used to distribute directory shares on local network, 
  18. it offers password encryption, user and group access, 
  19. and it's compatible whit Microsoft network, 
  20. it's based on the smb protocol standard used by Microsoft,)

  22. to install the program drag it over to prefs directory,
  23. and copy the replacement smb.conf to your samba config directory. Or you can
  24. add
  25. a new line to an existing config file
  26.  
  27. include = /env/smb.conf 
  28.  
  29. and your done!!!

  31. This is update V1.1 fixes some problems and bugs inn V1.0 (beta?),
  32. the program it self is the same.
